You are invited to attend the 138^th Annual General Meeting of the Torquay Rowing Club which will be held at the Royal Torbay Yacht Club at 20:00 hrs on Thursday 27^th March 2008.

Your committee has 11 positions and is made up of 8 members, Club Captain, Hon Treasurer, and Hon Secretary. Each year the Club Captain, Hon Treasurer, Hon Secretary and 4 members are required to be elected. The 4 members are elected for a two year term and the officers for 1 year.

There are vacancies on the committee and would urge you to consider standing as the committee would welcome new members with new ideas and a willingness to help to the club forward.

Nominations should reach the secretary by the first post Tuesday 25^th March 2008. Members should note that the club rules require each candidate to have two nominations. Please ensure your nominee is prepared to serve and attend committee meetings which are held on the second Thursday of each month.

Please note that subscriptions are now due for the year 2008.

Please make every effort to attend the AGM.
