Torquay Rowing Club was founded on 3rd May 1869 by Colonel H Luxmore 'when boats were made of wood and men made of steel'. The oldest sporting club in Torbay continues to promote rowing under the motto 'Verrimus Aequor Remis' meaning 'We Sweep The Sea With Our Oars'.
If you have missed the first session do not worry as you can catch up during the course. For information on attending email email@example.com with your name and contact number/address.
Well done to Dart-Totnes ARC for winning Torbay Royal Regatta this year! And a massive thank you for everyone who turned up to race and support, especially Mr Kevin Foster MP who joined us to watch the racing in the bay and then presented the trophies at the prize giving.
