Located in South Devon, Torquay Rowing Club was founded on 3rd May 1869 by Colonel H Luxmore 'when boats were made of wood and men made of steel'. The oldest sporting club in Torbay continues to promote the sport of rowing under the motto 'Verrimus Aequor Remis' meaning 'We Sweep The Sea With Our Oars'.
Beginners:
New members are welcome to come down and join in the fun! Please contact our Welfare Officer to confirm attendance. Rowing sessions take place on Sundays between 10am and midday. Land training sessions take place on Thursday nights from 7pm. More info ...
Latest News:
The Head of the Plym on 24th January saw wins for our Senior A / Veteran Mens Four who also finished second overall in both Divisions. The club was also represented in Mens Single and Mens, Mixed and J15 Double Sculls.

Membership subscriptions are now due for 2010 and can be paid to the Treasurer directly or any committee member.
